Warranty
Two-Year Limited Warranty: Semai Aviation warrants its products against defects in materials and craftsmanship. Under typical use and service, every hardware portion of the products should be free from physical defects in material and assembly during the warranty period of two years, or the hardware will be repaired or replaced as determined solely by Semai Aviation. This warranty is provided only to the person or entity that originally purchased the product from Semai Aviation or its authorized distributor or retailer.
Customers are responsible for the return shipment of equipment to Semai Aviation for repair. Please contact us for instructions on how to prepare and declare your shipment. Failure to follow our instructions may result in the customer being responsible for any resulting duties. Semai Aviation will cover the cost of the return shipment and duties if the repair is under warranty.
However, Semai Aviation is not responsible for a few specific situations, including:
- Overloading the load measurement unit,
- Applying power (voltage and current) outside the specifications of the tool,
- External intervention in the Electronic Box,
- Liquid contact,
- Exposure to a dusty environment,
- Intentional damage,
- Instances where responsibility is not attributed to our company, such as the removal of parts bearing hologram labels on the product by users.
Acceptance of Delivery
The buyer is responsible for ensuring someone is at the shipping address to receive, accept, and sign the delivery papers. If no one is available at your delivery address and the product is returned to us, additional shipping fees may apply to re-ship it to you.
Repairs After Warranty Expiry
You may send us your product for repair or re-calibration. Please contact us at info@semai.com.tr with details about your requirements, and we will provide you with a quote for return shipping, parts, and estimated labor time.
Refunds
Refunds will be processed in accordance with our cancellation policy stated below. We will refund using the same payment method that was originally used to place the order.
Asking for a Refund After Shipment
Suppose you want to return an unused/unopened product after the shipment for any reason other than a defect; in that case, we charge 30% of your item cost as a restocking and administration fee after our team reviews the item. This fee includes service fees, shipping returning labels, additional hours of work, preparing the product for restocking, etc. All these require further work by our staff.
Proof of the Defect
Before requesting a refund or a replacement, please email us at info@semai.com.tr with supporting images or videos of proof of the defect for us to evaluate. We may not accept your refund or replacement request otherwise.
How to Return
Once a return is agreed upon, you can ship your defective item to the provided return address you will receive from us. Please ship the product in its original packaging with all the accessories and additional parts. Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original receipt, as well as any proof of defect, images, a video, etc. This will help us to speed up the process on your behalf. If the Required Parts are not sent back, they will be billed for or expected to be shipped later. Once all items are received, we will test the returned product for defects.
The product must be in its Original Condition
Before we issue a return shipping label for you to ship back to us for a full or partial refund, you must email us supporting images or videos to evaluate. In addition, the product must be in its original condition without any damage, scratch, dirt, or harm for us to decide on a full or partial refund or a replacement procedure. Please keep the original receipt(invoice) which will be sent via e-mail.
14 Days Return and Refund Policy
Returns are only accepted on devices with severe and irreversible quality defects for items. The buyer/customer must apply for a return or an exchange within 14 days of delivery. We will not accept product returns or exchanges after 14 days. This is not negotiable.
Inspection
Once your return is received, inspected, and agreed upon that a refund should occur, the refund will be credited to the original credit card used for payment within 24-48 hours. It may take at least five business days (depending on the bank and credit card company) before your refund is officially posted in your bank account and statements. Please get in touch with us if you have not received your refund after five business days.
Restocking Fee
Please note that if you are returning a product for any reason after opening and using it other than a defect, we charge a 70% restocking fee + return shipping costs, bank transfer service fees (they are non-refundable), additional hours of work, and prepares the product for restocking, or refurbishing, if applicable; and all these require additional work by our staff.
Validation of Billing and Shipping Address
Suppose your billing address differs from your shipping address; to protect our customers from fraudulent purchases, we can ask you to validate your billing and shipping address before processing your order.
Cancellations
Orders for products(off the shelf or custom-made) offered by Semai Aviation are non-refundable due to their bespoke nature. For standard products and accessories, if cancellation occurs before shipping, a 25% cancellation fee will apply. After shipping, due to the significant costs associated with calibration and order preparation, orders are not refundable
